This is the 10th year anniversary of the Commander winning the Knife of the Year at the 1998 BLADE Show. So, we are reissuing a vintage, retro version of the original Commander model. The knife features double .062 thick titanium liners. The handles are .125 thick, with original screw placement and radiused (not chamfered) edges. The blade has the distinctive Commander swedges on the top of the blade. The only difference is that I have left the swedges exposed (natural steel finish) so that no one would potentially confuse them with an actual 1998 Commander. These have the look, the feel and the heft of the original Commanders and is one helluva knife. These are an extremely limited run, so place your order immediately as these are absolutely sure to go fast. Price is $375.00 (SOLD OUT)

Price is $395.00 (SOLD OUT)
(2007)Winning Bid: $1,500 Some Very Special Knives Here are some very special knives. These are full custom handmade knives by me. That makes them kind of special. What makes them very special is that they are prototypes, handmade by me. They are the very first ones made. These are models that I am adding to the 2009 catalog. I build all our prototype knives by hand and they are extremely collectible and have traded among collectors for thousands of dollars. They are marked as prototypes and are sure to make great Christmas presents to yourself or to someone special to you. Don’t miss out on this year’s crop. Ernest R. Emerson The Super CQC-8
Here is the most requested knife we’ve had in a long time, the Super 8. This will be featured as one of the new additions to our factory line for 2009. I’ve always thought the CQC-8 was quite a knife, but the Super 8 is a knife and a half. It is one hell of a folder and it’ll do everything you ask and more – much more. These are handground, handmade prototypes. SPECS Super CQC-8 $800.00 - 0 Available (SOLD OUT) The Mini A-100
This is a sleek downsized version of our very popular A-100 model, the Mini A-100 knife. This knife is small enough to be unobtrusive and at home anywhere you go, yet still capable of cutting you out of almost any jam you may encounter. Here are two handmade, handground prototypes for you to have and to hold. SPECS Mini A-100 $800.00 - 0 Available (SOLD OUT) Super Ravens
I really like these. These Super Ravens are a design I’ve been playing with well, for 12 years now. I’ve never been able to put it down. So I decided to make it bigger, and viola, the Super Raven. Check out the “hidden wave” feature. These are the biggest Ravens ever, the first waved Ravens, and they are handmade, handground prototypes. I’ve got two spearpoint A blades and two B models featuring zero chisel ground blades. I’m thinking about doing a small limited run of these (not for the catalog), but the prototypes will only be made once. Here they are. SPECS
"Special Edition" HD-7 Knives (SOLD OUT)
The Hell Beak
Thank
you all for a spirited and lively auction. Here's another one for you Karambit aficionados. This knife features a Devon Thomas High Contrast Damascus Blade, hand ground by Me - Ernest Emerson. It has lovely green anodized liners that contrast brightly against the black G-10 handles. This is a unique one of a kind karambit. I know I've made a couple of other damascus karambits but it's been fewer than a couple or so. This is a very striking and dramatic knife. I hope you enjoy it. This will be another one of our auctions by e-mail. It will start today, Wednesday Oct. 18 and end at 1200 hrs on Monday, Oct. 23. We will post the high bid at 1000 hrs. PST Thursday, Friday, and 0900, 1000, and 1100 hrs. on Monday so you can get an idea of where the bid is at before we close the bid at 1200 hrs. Thank you and good hunting. Ernest R. Emerson Some Unique Offerings Very Special Snubbies (2008) SOLD OUT We have many stories from CQC-14 owners about their encounters with law enforcement, all with good outcomes. Because of its success I'm thinking of making a small run of 14's with various blade shapes. I made three sets of prototypes up for Christmas specials. Here they are! These are hand ground, zero grind chisel blades by me. These are the very first, marked prototypes, and they are very freakin cool knives. I made 3 different models - The CQC-7 Snubbie, The Bull Nose, and The Sub-Commander. These are true hand ground onesies and you can use them or put them into your collection, they're perfect in either case.
The CQC-7 Snubbie. This is one tough little S.O.B. I don't need to say anymore. SOLD OUT . The Bull Nose. Whether you cut or jab, it's legal to carry (most places). The bullnose does not need any explaining, just look at it and the name says it all. SOLD OUT
The Sub-Commander. How did I get all those curves into such a short blade? I don't know but I think I did a pretty good job of it. For those of you who love the Commander this is the Sub-Commander and it's perfect for your pocket. SOLD OUT BULLNOSE KARAMBIT (2005) (SOLD OUT)
Here is a knife Mary just pulled out of her cabinet drawer. A Bull Nose - Silver Shadow, Karambit. The knife is a hand ground 0 edge model with the thick (.125) Silver G-10 handles. This is a Pretty, little, lethal weapon and is a great knife to use, carry, or just add to a collection. I only have this one left. Grab it while you can. (SOLD OUT) The price is $450.00
Emerson Collectors Association Knife
of the Year
First Edition Emerson Collectors Association Knife of the Year This is a knife of firsts. The first persian style folder from Emerson, the longest folding knife we've ever done, the first knife from the ECA platform and the first ECA official "Knife of the Year". It is the first of a series that will feature an official ECA knife of the year logo that will be issued once a year only to collectors and enthusiasts who are members of the Emerson Collectors Association. On top of all that, it really is a pretty cool knife. The first time you pick it up, you'll absolutely love how it feels in your hand. The blade is clean and wicked, hair splitting sharp and is actually a fearsome weapon if it ever came down to that. The knife is marked with the ECA logo, year, and serial number. This is a limited edition knife and you must be an Emerson Collector's Association member in order to own one of these knives. These special edition versions of the Tactical Persian Folder will be unique and have features that will not be found on any of the factory versions. These knives will feature a full zero edge chisel grind and a premium grade satin finish. They have titanium liners with Black G-10 handles and the blades are hand ground. |

The Mach 1 is actually one of my favorite designs and I have carried one on and off for over two years. Here is a chance to own a beautiful knife that is unique yet fully functional. You even get to choose the one you want. There are seven available. $429.00 each

I've been looking at these blades for about a year now and couldn't figure out what to do with them. Our laser engraver marked these blades on the wrong side. I put them away thinking, "What the heck can I do with these?" Well, I know that some of you prefer the thicker liners, like on the old style commanders. So, here are some real unique knives. I didn't think anyone would want a mis-marked knife, so I had Shaun dig up some .062 titanium liner material. What we've got is conventional Commanders with thick liners. Oh, by the way, they have the thick handles too. We offer you these right-handed knives with left side logo. These really are some strong knives. Only 10 available. $ 325.00 each Ernest Emerson Hand Ground
I just pulled these out of the back of our vault. We have found 6 original pre-production hand ground CQC-7 knives. There are two CQC-7A chisel grind (not V ground) knives and 4 pre-production Tantos. I hand ground these in late 97' or early 1998. These are bead blasted blades marked with the Emerson SPECWAR Knives Logo. The CQC-7A's are very unique being ground on one side only and are the last two of probably six or seven that were ever made. These CQC7s are the last of the pre-production that exist. $375.00 (SOLD) SERRATED LA GRIFFE (SOLD) We have a fully serrated La Griffe available. This was made when we were looking at the feasibility of serrating the La Griffe as a rescue knife (the whitewater rescue version). We have 1 Black fully serrated version available. We have never offered the pointy version of the La Griffe in a serrated format. This was made in Late 1999. $71.95 (SOLD) COMMANDER w/ LADDER PATTERN DAMASCUS (SOLD) COMMANDER w/ RAINDROP PATTERN DAMASCUS (SOLD) COMMANDER w/ SPIROGRAPH PATTERN DAMASCUS(SOLD) Here are four stunning carbon Damascus Bladed Commanders. Completely hand ground. You get to choose the one you want. These feature Devon Thomas Damascus and are beautifully unique. They are quite rare and definitely are a dressed up version of our flagship knife. These are the only ones available. $449.00 (SOLD) WAVELESS COMMANDER (SOLD) Shaun found Two Waveless Commanders in the Engineering office. They were tucked behind a box of old parts. For those of you who do not want a wave, we have two available - with low serial #'s, 015 and 035. $295/$325 (SOLD) Old Style SPECWAR Mary had this one stashed in her desk. She does that with knives sometimes, just to keep from my sight. If I see it, I'll sell it. She had this one stashed since the beginning of the Company - early 97' at least. I ground it way back then, and it's marked with Emerson SPECWAR Knives Logo. $795.00 (SOLD) DAGGER(SOLD) CQC-7 w/ RAINDROP PATTERN DAMASCUS BLADE (SOLD) CQC-7 w/ SPIROGRAPH PATTERN DAMASCUS BLADE(SOLD) CQC-7 w/ VINES AND ROSES PATTERN DAMASCUS BLADE(SOLD) Here are some beautiful Devon Thomas Damascus CQC7-B's. With these blades, this hard-core design becomes both bad and beautiful. I really like the way these knives look. As good as they look, remember that they are still as fully functional and good to go as the regular version. There are only three available. $379.00 (SOLD) PROTOTYPE P-SARK (SOLD) Here is one of the first P-SARKs we ever made. We were experimenting with the pointed version to see if it was still reasonably safe to use in a high stress situation such as cutting someone out of a harness, web gear, or an auto. We made some pointy ones up to test and this one was a back up that never got used. It has a machine finished satin blade and is a true prototype. There is only one available. $1500 (SOLD) GREEN T COMMANDER (SOLD) We have not had any of these around for a while. This is a green on green - Green-T Blade/Green G-10 Handle serial # 016, marked year 2000. I found it in one of the cubby holes above my desk. I actually have about a hundred knives tucked away in these cubby holes. Every once in a while I look through some of them and find a real unique or one of a kind piece. That's where this one was. To my knowledge this is the only Green-T Commander left. $325 MINI COMMANDER (SOLD) I pulled this out just because I thought someone might be interested in the significance of the serial #, 911. Although it's marked 2002, it was actually in process at the time of the terrorist attacks. I grabbed it just so you could have the opportunity to get it if you want. $225.00 SATIN COMMANDER (SOLD)
