Mini
CQC-7 We've scaled down the CQC-7 model for all of the reasons mentioned in the description on the knife page. We'd like you to know that when other knife companies make a scaled down version of one of their models they also make the handles and blade thinner in proportion to the overall length. This weakens the overall strength and compromises the structural integrity of the knife. This is fine if you're making a light duty penknife or letter opener. When we scaled down our CQC-7 we kept the blade thickness at .125 inches and the handles and liners the same thickness as the original model. The result is a knife that is as strong if not stronger than its big brother. Yes, you can use this pocket-sized version to open letters too, but you can also punch it through a car door if you need to.
