SPECIAL NOTE
When other knife companies make a mini, or downsized version of one of their knife models, not only do they reduce the overall size of the knife, but they reduce the thickness of the blade also. This results in a much weaker knife. Emerson mini's are left at the same full thickness as the parent knife. We will never sacrifice strength for convenience. You may choose to use your mini just to open your mail, but you can still drive it through the hood of a car if you ever need to.
