DETAILS
The Emerson Combat System is based on the foundation of Principles and Attributes. The principles are the things that work in a combat environment and the attributes are the skill set and attitude that the individual brings to the fight. As an instructor, and Black Belt Hall of Famer, Ernest Emerson has taught his system to Military, Law Enforcement and civilians all over the world. As a knife designer he has created the most respected and sought after edged weapons in the world. Ernest Emerson knows intimately what those principles and attributes are. Two of those principles, Economy of Motion and Efficiency of Action are dramatically expressed in perfect balance in the Emerson Combat Systems Fighter. The ECS Fighter is simple, brutal and elegant. As to an attitude, well it’s pure Emerson. You decide for yourself.
KNIFE ANATOMY
HOW TO USE THE WAVE FEATURE
An important part of knowing the anatomy of an Emerson Knife is knowing how to utilize it. Using the  patented Emerson Wave Feature correctly, you can deploy the knife out of pocket rapidly. It takes some practice to master. See how it's done in the video above.
BLADE STYLE: SABRE POINT
The Sabre shape is a blade that arcs upward in a long continuous arc placing the point above the center line of the knife.
Standoff Spacers have been standard on all Emerson Knife models since 2014. Any knife ordered from our site from that year will receive one of these models.
Lanyard Holes serve one purpose: attaching a paracord lanyard if you choose to get one. We get asked that question quite a lot!
The Thumb Button is there so that you may open the knife single handedly . Specifically with your thumb. Some people are naturals at it and some have to learn. Either way, it's very useful.

Just an absolute YES! My only complaint about this pattern is that Emerson didn't bring this knife back sooner. I don't know if this drop as of June 2023 is limited or not, but the CSF needs to stay in regular production. It is, in my opinion, the best model Emerson has ever made. It combines a versatile and attractive blade, similar to the Tiger, with the ultra-ergonomic handle of the Roadhouse. I own and enjoy many knives from Emerson and other manufacturers alike and it's hard to pick a favorite. This knife, however, may just be my favorite user.

I own many Emersons and I believe this is one of the most versatile blades produced; it is also my opinion that the handle ergonomics are far superior to pretty much any other knife I have ever owned, the feel is raw and visceral and it truly feels like an extension of my hand. Is the CSF the ultimate fighting knife? Probably, but that is for you to decide. If you have ever been on the fence about buying one, do it, you won't be disappointed.

The CSF is a superb design with the proven handle of the Roadhouse and an upswept blade similar to the proven design of the CQC-8. Great all around knife for utility, EDC. or selfdefensxe,.

The love child of the CQC-8 and the Roadhouse, the Combat Systems Fighter is a purpose-driven design. One of the easier knives to Wave, this design can do everything

Excellent model, the great handle shape of the Roadhouse with a low slung drop point ala the Tiger. What's not to like?

The Combat Fighter is my favorite knife to carry as strictly a weapon and is tied as my favorite emerson with my Jungle CQC-7 but as a weapon it's the perfect combination of balance and blade angle for use as a weapon I have a cerakoted blade that's been modified with titanium bolsters n green G-10 jungle handler n titaniun skullcrusher that replaced my standoffs and just orderd last Friday a limited run of stonewash signiture series gonna leave stock by the wat my modified Cerakote is a signiture series as well.

Of all the Emerson knives I own, this is one of a handful that I would gladly take into the depths of hell. The sabre-oriented grip makes for an astoundingly solid grip, and with the pronounced guard, gets even more solid in the reverse. With the rearward cant of the blade, the CSF makes for easy cutting into a variety of materials, from vegetable tanned leather to various cardboard stocks. So glad I own one.

Mr.emerson, I carry one of your knives always,(among a few others also) and I would really like to carry one of your new models. But for a working guy from Pa. with 3 kids, 260$. Don't u think that's a bit much? I won't carry sub-par kershaw. So I guess I'll start saving my pennies. You make great knives, and your customer service is fantastic. Give that girl a raise.

Initially I wanted a Tiger, but they were sold out so as soon as I got the email of the CSF I went online and bought one. Received it the next day…incredible CS. The blade is everything I was looking for and being a Sig Series signed by the man himself makes it all the more special.

Balance, ergonomics perfection. My new favorite Emerson. This blade leads me through defensive motions when shaddow training. Such soul, an education from a Master for sure. Thank you.

One word… Badass!
This thing is low slung and ready for business.
As a Kenpo Karate guy I can fully appreciate the extension of our God given natural weapons and this Combat Systems Fighter is that PERFECT extension!
Kudos Mr. Emerson for understanding this!
Thank you Sir!

This is more of an impression based on my extensive Emerson collection. This knife appears very functional. For me, its a wonderful hybrid of the cqc-8 blade and the cqc-10 handle. 2 of my favorite knives in fact! They have joined forces, had a baby and out came the combat systems fighter! I am so excited for this knife and will be ordering! Emerson makes knives built for your hand! Thanks Emerson Knives!

I have been waiting for this model to arrive for a long time! I agree with the previous post, CQC8 style blade/Roadhouse style grip makes for a nice design. I couldn't afford to drop the coin for a custom auction model and to be honest, I prefer the standard G10. I just ordered mine today! I can only think of one word to describe this model… Perfect

Though I have not gotten one of these as of yet, I have dreamed of this design for years. A sort of Roadhouse/CQC-8 hybrid just seemed like a preferable knife to me. Now that my dreams have come true, I,d just like to sincerely say thank you to Earnest Emerson.
