An important part of knowing the anatomy of an Emerson Knife is knowing how to utilize it. Using the  patented Emerson Wave Feature correctly, you can deploy the knife out of pocket rapidly. It takes some practice to master. See how it's done in the video above.

2 out of 3 were good ones.

I own three Elvia's.
All three were nice except one of them had a late liner lock up. I never felt confident about it so I reached out to Emerson.
Rachel quickly sent me a warranty return, so it is presently at the shop for repair. In all I like the knife. I will report back once I receive the warranty repair.

I love the Elvia design. I have a few knives designed by Ed and they never disappoint, including this mini Elvia by Emersion. The fit and finish of a real Emerson knife is impressive and well worth the money.

This knife is small but in my opinion, an Elvia type blade does not need to be big to be effective. The blade is extreamly sharp and perfectly centred when stowed away between the g10 grips. When the knife is deployed the lock up is precise and sturdy.

Thank you Emerson, thank you Ed and thank you Elvia for this knife.

Could have a better pocket clip as well as bearing pivots and not plastic washers. Also a higher quality steel beside 154cm for the price range.

Love mine! Came sharp and centered. Very snappy action. Button sticks some but I'm sure it'll break in

Got one in today and usual great quality! It's very snappy and very sharp. Only thing i would change if I could is the steel tp magnacut.

As with anything you intend to use for self defense it is preferable to get some time in behind your actual weapon. This is as close as you get to “dry firing” with an ElVia. It helps to line out your drawstroke and initial strikes without putting a training partner or your heavy bag(ask me how I know lol) in danger.

This is an outstanding blade. It stands out in its class. Fine craftsmanship and design. Elegant, and lethal. I haven’t carried a folder in a very long time. This blade is so hot right now. I might get another.
