Solid as they get

Have had one of the a100s before and sold it instantly missed the knife as the build is so simple but solid as it gets.
Really love the thumb disk.

Disappointed

This knife is well made. I had high hopes.
But I find it to be uncomfortably balance and is hard to open one handed. It seems to stick. I have no trouble opening my other knives one handed. This one requires two. Maybe it a lemon.
But I will not carry this knife because it doesn’t work for me.

Great design

I love this original design for its simplicity and strength.
This is a working man’s design but it will serve admirably in a self defense role. As an EDC it has much to recommend it.
The new Thunderstorm blade finish is superb. I wish I could have all my old Emerson’s redone in this finish. It looks great and wears beautifully. Please offer it more. I’ll take an EX100 in Thunderstorm as soon as it’s available.
The A100 is classic Emerson at its Best.

I absolutely adore this knife. It perfectly executes what it was designed to be: A tough and reliable pocket tool.

The gateway EKI! Great knife for those that aren't sure if they want to take the plunge into some of Emerson's more aggressive styles. Neutral handle and a traditional spearpoint blade make this a solid everyman's EDC. I went with the micarta version and am pleased with my choice. Now if only EKI would offer micarta (and in more colors) regularly on different knives, we'd really have a good thing going. Also , bring back the super A-100...and the Big Bulldog :D

Amazing knife. Reminds me of the ex 100. Very simple, tight tolerances. I thought the straight profile would bother me. It does not. Very excellent knife.
