XHD-Karambit

Finish: Stonewash

XHD stands for Extra Heavy Duty. The XHD Karambit is the most extreme heavy-duty Karambit ever developed. Brought to you by the man who introduced the first modern folding Karambit, Ernest Emerson has pushed the evolution of this ancient weapon to new heights.

In his words: “The XHD Karambit now represents the ultimate evolution of this simple, effective weapon. It’s stronger, faster and more efficient than any folding Karambit in history. I’m very proud of that.”

The Emerson XHD Karambit brings together a set of features never before found in a single Karambit design. Two thick titanium liners are covered in rugged, combat-grade G-10 scales that provide a secure, virtually slip-proof grip in the most extreme environments.

The heavy-duty handle features a full-size titanium backspacer, grooved for traction and built to add exceptional rigidity and strength to an already rugged frame.

Inside is a razor-sharp, V-ground S35VN blade measuring 5/32" thick, finished with a reinforced combat point.

The blade glides effortlessly on a GTC bearing system and is the first Karambit design to incorporate the “triple play” opening feature. Open it conventionally with your thumb, with the patented Emerson Wave Feature, or with the fast, smooth flipper.

Ernest Emerson sums it up like this: “Take my word for it, this knife sets a new standard for the next generation of Karambit evolution, and you’ll agree there’s never been any Karambit like this one before.”
