I was getting the mail yesterday and I saw a package from that business ;) If you know, you know. I instantly knew that my wife and kids decided to surprise me for my birthday. When I shook the box, I could tell what model it was purely by the feel of the thump. She was kind of ticked because my birthday was a week away and wanted to surprise me; however, completely blown away by just how fast it had arrived from so far away (ordered Friday/arrived following Monday). What a great birthday present from my family. The first time I saw this blade, I wanted it but it was gone. Now, upon it's re-release it was gifted to me. I have a special interest and connection to the history of its inspiration and the design, to me, has a magical quality to it. This is something that I will keep close to me for a long time. Emerson knives have an essence to them that you don't find with most brands and this knife really embodies that.

Excellent little blade. My new EDC. Highly recommend it.
Just need to stretch the sheath a little.

Great knife. Mediocre sheath. Sheath too tight if you push the guard in, too long if you don’t. Also, when the sheath got wet, the dye bled all over.
