Recently picked up a cqc7 and I'm not disappointed the quality control is excellent and the knife is bomb proof. Will probably pick up a second one soon to keep in my truck just so I always have one.
Love it! I have the viper and the CQC 6 and CQC 5. Many years ago. Wanted another but prices off the charts so went for this A-100 it is definitely a utility which fits my persnona, a+++++rating. Would highly recommend friends love it price is solid and I appreciate the MIL discount. Tops in my books!
I got my husband the CQC-7-B with a personalized engraving for our 20th anniversary. He was surprised and more than pleased with the gif. Thank you, Emerson, for making a special time even more special.
I have two other Emerson’s for EDC. I have carried other brands, but seem to always return to the Emerson’s. They are my favorites for EDC.
A master piece beautiful finish
Smooth action. Feels great in the hand. I play with it constantly. I like the spear point -- durable, all purpose, sturdy, sharpen-friendly. Solid, grippy grip. Wave works perfectly, pops right open. Thunderstorm finish is very ninja. Highly recommend.
The craftsmanship of this knife is so impressive. Never have I held a knife so sturdy and made out of excellent materials that truly have been refined into a functional work of art.
I was able to get a wood handle as well as a G-10. Beautiful knives. Clean, classic and cool. Love these.
Great Grip. Nice metal hardness, I have the same issue, with all my pocket-clip folders : the clip caught a chair arm & the 'tightness' was loosened. Still fits fine, just think a small curvature or 'elbow' at the end nearest the blade tip would help. I intend to replace the clip; because I have a larger waist. The blade length is respectable, for a folder; as for collecting - a longer blade is preferred.
When I saw Emerson knives had the gray American Flag, I bought one. It’s been in my pocket since I received it a week ago. It’s been great.
I love the consistency with drop in parts from Emerson. Great quality.
I’ve always wanted the cqc7 just never got around to getting one all these years. I had the bench made versions back in the day but not the same. I finally got around to getting the one I wanted and it does not disappoint. The fit and finish are great, love the classic look of the no wave, now to put it in the rotation of my EDC, just have to make sure I wear heavy duty pants because the clip and texture of the scales tear up some pocket edges.
Emerson knives are priced just right. You're getting American product using quality materials. These are not "safe queens". They are tools that are meant to be used.
I had one years ago and gave it away as a gift for a special boy. I tried to get a replacement but Emerson was no longer available. I am thrilled to find another and will get a couple more knives. Great quality and craftsmanship!
If your looking for a flashy tic tok knife then this isn't for you.
If you want a knife that is tough and works every time you deploy it, then Emerson is the one you want. Also in a world filled with Chinese junk, this knife is truly made in California by proud fellow Americans.
I find the All American to be as fantastic and superb knife both in design and workmanship.
A true expression of American craftsmanship a true pride to possess.
I have several Emerson knives. The Sheepdog is my first knife with the flipper. In my limited use of this knife so far I am finding the flipper to be very smooth and very practical. I use the flipper, by far, the most when opening the knife.
The blade shape appeals to me and I know that is personal preference. The overall knife size is very convenient to carry. I am very pleased with this knife.
My first Emerson. What a smooth action- a premo knife. I'm very happy with this knife- Thank You ! Gary L.
This knife is just right on all levels fits in the hand and the pocket perfectly
Build quality is bar none Excellent
Thanks Emerson Knives for your superb knives
You can tell alot went into the fitting of the scales and the almost seem custom...love the knife
The Elvia is a finely crafted knife and has exceeded all my expectations. I would highly recommend this knife to anyone who is looking for a knife of this particular design. I carried an Emerson knife on duty as a law enforcement officer for over twenty years and still depend on them as an everyday carry in retirement. Emerson Knives has my highest recommendations!
Love the knife, great blade shape and love the scales in the handle. Feels extremely premium and can’t wait to purchase another model.
